ww I doubt you could herd cats but making psis work together would be all but impossible. but controlling them with projective telepathy may be unethical but would make them work together sort of.

An offense for which I personally promote the death penalty without trial. Ugh.

Way to become an evil overlord, SwiftSilver, lol. I don't think that's practical, y'know.

Unethical and unpractical. I mean, you'd need a considerable fraction of generals per psis, and I've never seen mindcontrol or suggestive telepathy shown anywhere. People have a limit, so I doubt any one would be able to control a large amount of people like this...

Maybe the military is developing methods for controlling psions... like the mutants in X-men 2! I voted no, anyway.

Hah. No problem . Look on the bright side, maybe the military would be afraid of a remote viewer finding out about such research

There are a lot of rumors that the govt has means of shielding off areas from RVers.

Meh. That's a pretty vague question.

I don't believe that a war would start off between people with Psi talent. I would be prepared to believe that another type of war would generate a large scale Psi conflict however. If another world war was to begin, where people with Psi talent were to be on both sides, between those that have enough confidence in their skill... I could believe that it had a very small possibility to escalate into a kind of Psi war.

On the other hand, supposing that someone found a way to increase their abilities far past anyones possible imagination? Then, in a way, that person would become an army of one person. If that person then took it upon themselves to fix what they deemed "wrong" with the world, then I could also imagine that there would be a possibility of some enlargened scale conflict with Psi.

As for the rumors with the government, I'd highly doubt the validity of that. That's just my opinion though.
Personally, I think the governments are too narrow minded to think outside the square and into these area's. It's a possibility that they could funnel money through to secret projects, because it's obvious that the public would not support such research and development. But that would be very hard, seeing as they'd be using military grounds, staff, equipment, etc, to conduct such research. It's pretty hard to funnel money like that without declaring where it is ultimately going. Not to mention that they'd have to funnel it away in such a way that there would be no chance that anyone (considering how many accountants there are in the world) would be able to chase it. And as soon as someone found a missing document, or mysteriously ending paper trail, whistles would be blown.
Not to mention that most of the higher-ups in the military are usually older men and are the types of people who only believe what they see, and like to see good old fashioned elbow grease rather than new technology and fancy-pants ways of doing things.
Bah. I'm starting to drone on now.

Not as hard as you think, actually...do you really think the Pentagon spent a thousand dollars on a hammer, and ten thousand dollars per toilet seat?
