Hmmm... it depends on what the definition of "normal" and "ordinary" are.

It's a bit different if you are normal for say, the boonies (country area) of South Sudan, or most of rural India, where animism and energy users / meditators / witches are very common.

Culture plays a part in "ordinary" and "normal".
