Fluff and Flights of Fancy Is it absurd, "out there", vanishingly unlikely, ridiculous, or logically a bit questionable? Here's where it goes!

We are all our own worst enemies.

Freud referred to it as something like the equilibrium between thanatos and libido. Thanotos being the death instincts and libido being the life instincts.

It is human to wish for and expect a balanced, easy, smooth ride through life. At the same time having an exciting, stimulating, fun life.

It is easy to see why mistakes get made. That's OK, so long as they are remembered, learned from, and do not become so big as to distort perspective of current or future events.

Because assume just makes an ass of u and me.

Ok going to the 666 debunkers site and checking to see if its the Republicans! I wnt to my favorite numerology debunker site and picked the first numerology calculator I saw and got the number 606. Lets google 606. Ok I picked a site http://catholic-resources.org/Bible/666.htm that had all the possible beastly numbers out there and 660 is not one of them. Have to go to a Jehovah witnesses site heh. Wow nothing for 660 bleh. Very funny though.

Looking for enemies is the best way to make them, oddly enough. I don't put much stock in numerology, but maybe I'm just stupid. Anyway, in case there really is an "Ancient enemy", would you really want to go poking around for it? What will you do when you find it? You seem to have cited a Catholic source, so I'm guessing you're Catholic (apologies if I'm wrong) and if you are, then you already have your answer: the devil

I am nominally a Catholic. That is actually a debunking site. It is quite hilarious. I don't know much about enemies really. I guess I have had a few.

mankind is our worst enemy. we have Mastered Limitations sometime before most of us were born and since the corrupted reign back in the day(ancient Egyptians), the problem has only shifted and grew. Now if you were looking for a mystical foe...if you keep looking you will find it thanks to humans high ability to create our own reality. but all in all the only ones holding our progress back outside of our selves is society's limitations. Truth from the start of our life would do wonders for this world.

I believe you are right. mankind is the universal enemy and earth is the universal friend. Thats my two cents. Of course there are variants of the theme.
