Anybody like my style of chess?

Ok, here is how I learned to play two sides of a chess board. First do not memorize any chess books or patterns. I guess thats it. It's not a machine skill. then you move the pieces quickly. You can only do it for about 30 seconds because the game gets too complicated after that. When I first tried it I found with surprise that I wanted one side to win. With practice you can eliminate that. This is not like a computer because the moves are not preprogrammed. The effect is similar to what you feel reading Alice in Wonderland. I hung around with alot of chess players and have see alot of made-up games. Anybody here learned anything from chess or any other games?

What, exactly, were you trying to say here? I don't understand what the message you were conveying was. all I got was: you can play two sides of a chess board. Was that all?

Sounds like fun. It's sort of like watching a computer play chess or tic tac toe with itself (which is not fun or worthwhile), only you're the computer. I suppose if you want to do this at breakneck speed you'd need to know how each piece moves so well that it becomes reflexive, not to mention special moves like castling or en passant. I haven't played chess in ages.

It's a bit like Kriegspiel with only one player.

I would say your technique has some benefit, in giving greater access to visualising possibilities from actions.

BUT it has over simplistic drawbacks too. Chess pieces can only move in certain ways.

It's useful as a training aid for the mind, up to a point. Can spring board other ideas too.

Interesting. Me personally, I program a chess board made out of energy, and play against the intelligence there. Then I dissolve it when I lose 54 times in a row
