Your Career

Not the point of this section but what job would you chose as your career.
For me I will either be a scientist researching on AI or I will join the IPS to be a detective or I will join the IAS to be an administrator.

<shrug> I chose to tinker with technology. You could say it's a mix of all 3 of your choices.

Not exactly a secure niche, but fascinating nontheless.

I'll probably go study either psychology or medical science to university... so, I will probably become a doctor (and perhaps a surgeon later) or psychologist/psychiatrist (although I find the thought about unstable psychologist/psychiatrist very amusing. Not saying that I'm unstable though, or perhaps to some degree). Anyway, I want to do something to help others.

All of these are future options/aspirations. I'm currently unemployed but working on my education, so I'm not currently anywhere NEAR these things. But I can be if I get my work done and try hard enough, I'm sure.

I'm hoping to achieve a 'pseudo-American Dream' by snatching up a career in Parapsychology and to help pioneer in the field. There's still a lot to learn and discover, I feel it's my calling. If that doesn't hold out, then Psychology is fine, but it's just not as interesting to me. I'm a very emotional and mental person, so getting perspective on others' feelings and thoughts is easier to me by default (and more so with Psionics).

I've been adept with technology since I was little (thanks to the not-so-present-in-my-life-anymore Dad), so I wouldn't mind becoming some kind of programmer or designer. Gaming's a big part of my life, after all. I also took up Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) in High School, so I could probably go into an industry and make some good money there.

Alternatively, I have an inherent musical spirit but don't play any instruments or sing. I was thinking I could pick up some kind of instrument for performance arts. Piano skill runs in the family (long fingers and good dexterity helps), but I might just enjoy playing Saxophone more. Love the sound, even though I'm not completely into the tunes you usually hear them in (i.e. Jazz, Blues).

Lastly, I figured that doing some kind of work with NASA or some other space program would be cool. It's what I wanted to pioneer in before Psionics, but figured it was overrated and overdone. Still, if I get a viable opportunity within reach, I don't see why not.

I'm hoping I don't have to rely on this one because it's the furthest from my dream job, but I'd be content working for a Police force somewhere, maybe joining the military if I must. It's not as much of a thinking job as I'd like, I just know that I'd fit in somewhere for sure.

Man, I'm a bit narcissistic. I need to stop talking about me so much. >-<;

I'm a musician, both in a band and on my own, but my main income is web design/technical consulting, which I have a passion for.

I'd love any job involving math. I'll probably find myself studying electrical engineering someday.
I remember when I was little I wanted to be a doctor. Now I can't stand the thought of being a part of any area of medicine. Too antisocial to work with patients, plus I cringe at the sight of open wounds. It's funny how much opinions change, lol.

I'm currently shooting for a job in system administration and back-end web development.

I'm 40, so I don't think my future career is going to be making significant changes from my present, lol. I breed ball pythons, run a metaphysical business, and I am an author.
