Fluff and Flights of Fancy Is it absurd, "out there", vanishingly unlikely, ridiculous, or logically a bit questionable? Here's where it goes!

Question Permanent Link

Wow it's been a long time since I posted on here...

Is it possible to create a truly permanent link that it's impossible to break? I really don't think so (hence posting it here) but I've seen odder things.

It depends on your interpretation of "permanent" and "impossible".

You can do stuff as good as you can do it, but that doesn't mean it will outlast a mountain. Or a continent.

All things have their time.

You think I don't know. Well, maybe you're wrong. Maybe I'm wrong.

But assuming you are always right always puts you in the wrong.

Because assume just makes an ass of u and me.

No. Even if it's really strong you could have this happen to you http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phineas_Gage and then it would be gone.

SIlver nitrate... marvellous stuff.

Colloidal silver is the process to get some, and if it's good enough for the International Space Station's water system, it's good enough for me...

I have the knowledge and equipment to make both of those.

Silver nitrate is great but it turns your skin black and can't compare to tetra silver tetroxide in antimicrobial properties.

I have a knack for collecting recipes that produce AMAZING healing properties.

What does that discussion have to do with the price of rice in China?

It was a development of the Phineas Gage link... silver is a very effective anti-pathogen (kills bacteria and at least some, perhaps all, virii).

Why do you think there are silver coated bandaids?

The plural of "virus". One, virus. More than one, "virii".

OK, you can use "viruses" but it breaks the rules of English a bit. Not a big deal.

Of course, being a Canadian hacker, you would know all about them, I guess?

I've answered lots of your questions, time you answered one of mine.
